My hobbies include reading, walking, yoga, drinking early morning coffee on the deck in the summertime, and spending time with my family, especially with my two year old granddaughter.
I knew in grade school that I enjoyed working with children in an educational setteing when I was a 5th and 6th grader, I was excused from my own classes to help the kindergaten teacher with art, music, and other special projects. I attended school in Washington State and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Auburn, Washington.
